To address the inadequate interventions for LBQTGNC (lesbian, bisexual, queer, transgender, gender-nonconforming) persons. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by LBQTGNC persons, particularly those at the grassroots level, CSG was created to provide targeted support and advocacy that was previously limited.
From its inception, Courageous Sisters Ghana has been committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where LBQTGNC individuals can access resources, build community, and advocate for their rights. The organization operates with intersectional feminist principle, acknowledging and addressing the multiple layers of discrimination and marginalization experienced by individuals within the community, particularly intersecting issues such as patriarchy, disability, and ethnicity.
